BondTrak
How It Works

Sign, Scan, Trak.

BondTrak adds one thing to the bond you already issue: a QR code. From that code, every party can verify the bond, acknowledge it, and follow it from signing through release, all on one shared record.

The Three Steps

One Small Change to a Process You Already Trust.

Your bonds still get signed on paper. BondTrak just makes each one verifiable and trackable from the moment it leaves your desk.

  1. Sign

The Bond Is Signed on Paper.

Nothing about your paperwork changes. When you create the bond in BondTrak, you get a printable QR sheet that travels with it.

    • Works with every standard bond type.
    • Pull the number from your registry or let BondTrak issue one.
    • The QR sheet prints at the end of the document, ready to sign.
  2. Scan

Anyone Can Scan the QR in Seconds.

The obligee, the principal, or the surety points any camera at the code and sees the bond right away.

    • No app to install and no account to create.
    • The scan page shows the bond details and its current status.
    • The party picks their role and acknowledges the bond.
  3. Trak

Every Action Lands on One Shared Record.

The acknowledgment is timestamped and the bond's status updates. From then on, every party works from the same record.

    • Each party sees the record scoped to their role.
    • Riders, renewals, and amendments attach to the bond's timeline.
    • Closing the bond drafts a Release of Surety with its own acknowledgment.
What a Scan Captures

Proof That Holds Up, Without a Signature Pad.

A scan is the record. The photo and the timestamp together are the proof that the bond was seen and acknowledged.

  • Photo Capture

Whoever scans it can attach a photo of the bond in hand, tied to the record.

  • Role on Record

Each party picks their role, agent, principal, obligee, or surety, so the record shows who acted.

  • Timestamped

Every scan and acknowledgment is logged with the date and time, in order, on the bond's timeline.

The Full Lifecycle

From Signing Through Release, on One Timeline.

A bond does not go dark after it is issued. Its whole life stays visible to the parties who need it.

  1. Sign

The bond is created and its QR sheet is printed and signed.

  2. Scan

A party scans the code and opens the live scan page.

  3. Acknowledged

The party confirms their role, with a photo and timestamp.

  4. Active

The bond is live and tracked, with riders and claims attached.

  5. Released

Closeout drafts a Release of Surety and the bond is retired.
